XpanDH, funded by Horizon Europe and in collaboration with the European Commission, proudly presents the European Electronic Health Record (EHR) Exchange Format Expert Summit. This pioneering event focused on the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF), will be held on Tuesday 12 December 2023 in a hybrid format—both in-person in Brussels and online from 09:00 to 18:00 CET.
Organised by the XpanDH project, co-organised and hosted by the European Commission the expert summit aims to bring together European projects, initiatives and key stakeholders with an interest in co-constructing the vision for the EEHRxF, its development process and use.
The expert summit will showcase invited projects’ use cases, development and use of interoperability assets, challenges addressed and the business drivers and benefits they aim to demonstrate. Participants will explore ways to collectively scale up pan-European adoption. Simultaneously, we will seek additional primary and secondary use cases to expand EEHRxF’s scope, encompassing broader data content and permitted stakeholder access at individual or population levels.
The outcomes of this first expert summit will be distilled and lead to further multi-stakeholder consultations in 2024, and inform the EC exchange format adoption strategy and its evolution.
Agenda:
The conference agenda includes sessions that will delve into the current status of EEHRxF interoperability assets’ development, diverse use cases, challenges, and the drivers for the adoption of EEHRxF.
